Male vs. Eastern (Girls)

Male coach Champ Ligon Jr. started the following lineup: 6-1 Fr. Cameron Browning, 6-0 Jr. Kyra Hogan, 6-1 Sr. Iliyah Green, 5-5 So. Ciaja Harbison, and 5-6 So. Emilia Sexton.  Eastern coach Josh Leslie countered with 5-9 Sr. Markeia Porter, 5-8 So. Alexis Smith, 5-10 Jr. Natalie Collins, 5-6 So. Brea Mishler, and 5-7 Sr. Shavia Thompson.

 

Male defeated Eastern by a score of 73-54.  Male shot 48.4% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on nine of 19 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Eastern turnovers.  Eastern shot 36.1% from the field including three of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on seven of 18 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 17 Male turnovers.

 

Emilia Sexton led Male with 21 points including three three point baskets.  Iliyah Green added 20 points, 15 rebounds, and six blocked shots.  Ciaja Harbison recorded 12 points, six assists, and three steals.  Cameron Browning chipped in with seven points and eight rebounds.

 

5-11 Fr. Mikayla Kinnard led Eastern with 17 points and seven rebounds.  Brea Mishler added 11 points.  5-11 Fr. Devin Beach recorded six points and eight rebounds.
