Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. David DeMarcus, 6-2 Sr. Tim Dunn, 6-5 Sr. Deandre Dishman, 6-0 Sr. Andre Davis, and 6-1 So. Terrance Murphy. Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-1 Sr. William Watkins, 5-10 Jr. Chris Wharton, 6-6 Sr. Ross Jenkins, 5-9 Sr. TJ Downey, and 5-10 Sr. Jaelin Jenkins.
Lafayette defeated Bryan Station by a score of 78-52. Lafayette shot 50% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line. The Generals connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 35 points off 26 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 41.7% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc. The Defenders connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.
TJ Downey led Lafayette with 16 points, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Ross Jenkins added 15 points, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots. Chris Wharton chipped in with 11 points. William Watkins also scored 11 points.
Deandre Dishman led Bryan Station with 10 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots. Jalen Burbage also scored 10 points. 6-1 Sr. Mahari Sturgis added nine points on three three point baskets. 5-7 Sr. Rafael Few recorded eight points, four rebounds, and four assists.
