Metcalfe County coach Josh Hurt started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Kennedy Harbison, 5-7 Sr. Cassie Brooks, 6-2 Jr. MacKenzie Coleman, 5-2 Fr. Shawna Edwards, and 5-4 So. Ellie Caffee. Allen County-Scottsville coach Brad Bonds countered with 5-9 Sr. Savannah Gregory, 5-6 Sr. Sydney Hurt, 5-11 Fr. Sarah Sutton, 5-3 Jr. RaeAnn Stafford, and 5-7 Sr. Jordan Brooks.
Allen County-Scottsville raced out to a 23-8 first quarter lead on their way to a 70-52 victory over Metcalfe County. The Lady Patriots defense registered 20 steals and scored 25 points off 24 Metcalfe County turnovers. Allen County-Scottsville shot 42.6% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line. The Lady Patriots connected on 14 of 19 free throws and pulled down 31 rebounds. Metcalfe County shot 45.5% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Hornets connected on seven of seven free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers.
Savannah Gregory led Allen County-Scottsville with a triple-double; 29 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, and 10 steals. Sarah Sutton added 19 points, six rebounds, and four steals. Jordan Brooks recorded 12 points on four three point baskets and four assists. 5-11 Fr. Mason Towery chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.
MacKenzie Coleman led Metcalfe County with 29 points, 15 rebounds, and three blocked shots. Coleman was 12 of 16 from the field including one of one from beyond the arc and four of four free throws. Cassie Brooks added 10 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.
