Christian Academy of Louisville coach Perry White Sr. started the following lineup: 5-7 8th Grade Shelby Calhoun, 5-6 Jr. Summer Conti, 5-9 Sr. Emma Bowman, 5-6 Jr. Emma Wesley, and 5-7 Sr. Camryn White.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 So. Grace Berger, 5-7 So. Kia Sivils, 5-10 Sr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Fr. Ashlee Harris, and 5-5 So. KiKi Samsel.

 

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Christian Academy of Louisville by a score of 80-76.  The score was tied seven times and there were seven lead changes in the game.  SHA shot 53.3% from the field including one of seven from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 15 of 19 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 42.9% from the field including six of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on 16 of 18 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 15 SHA turnovers.

 

Grace Berger led SHA with 19 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Ashlee Harris added 19 points, four assists, and three steals.  Lydia Taylor chipped in with 13 points and five rebounds.  Kia Sivils and KiKi Samsel recorded 11 and 10 points respectively.  5-9 So. Natalie Fichter pulled down nine rebounds.

 

Emma Wesley led CAL with 24 points.  Emma Bowman added 18 points and four rebounds.  Shelby Calhoun recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds.  Camryn White chipped in with seven points, nine rebounds, and five assists.  Summer Conti recorded five assists and six steals.
