Lexington Christian Academy coach Kent Miller started the following lineup: 5-8 Fr. Grace Combs, 5-8 So. Payton Rodgers, 5-9 Jr. Charis Hill, 5-5 Sr. Hannah Hartley, and 5-7 Jr. Sydney Weeks.  Model Laboratory coach Candace Wells countered with 5-11 Jr. Emily Jackson, 5-9 Jr. Mallory Smith, 6-1 Fr. Lauren Jackson, 5-2 Fr. Savanna Gullett, and 5-7 Jr. Sydney Claypoole.

 

Lexington Christian Academy trailed 26-13 in the second quarter but rallied to force overtime and earn a 75-74 overtime victory over Model Laboratory.  LCA recorded 15 two point baskets, 10 three point baskets, and connected on 15 of 27 free throws.  Model recorded 24 two point baskets, three three point baskets, and 17 of 30 free throws.

 

Sydney Weeks led LCA with 30 points including six three point baskets.  Grace Combs added 21 points.  Charis Hill recorded nine points and seven rebounds.  Payton Rodgers pulled down nine rebounds.

 

Mallory Smith led Model Laboratory with 24 points.  Lauren Jackson added 21 points, 14 rebounds, and seven blocked shots.  Sydney Claypoole recorded 15 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists.  Savanna Gullett chipped in with 10 points.
