Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-6 Fr. Michael Moreno, 6-1 So. Cooper Robb, 6-4 Jr. Cooper Watts, 6-1 Fr. Bryce Long, and 6-1 Fr. Glenn Covington.  Eastern coach David Henley countered with 6-4 Jr. Caleb Williams, 6-0 Jr. Javen Rushin, 6-5 Jr. Chance Moore, 5-10 Jr. Sugar Wyche, and 6-0 Sr. Kobey Jones. 

 

Scott County trailed 35-21 at halftime but rallied to defeat Eastern by a score of 56-51.  Scott County shot 45.8% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 19 Eastern turnovers.  Eastern shot 52.6% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 16 Scott County turnovers.

 

Cooper Robb led Scott County with 18 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Bryce Long added nine points.  Cooper Watts recorded eight points and eight rebounds.  Michael Moreno chipped in with eight points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

Chance Moore led Eastern with 21 points, five rebounds, and five steals.  Kobey Jones added 14 points.
