Eastern Kentucky University rolled up 531 yards of total offense on their way to a 67-30 victory over Austin Peay. Eastern Kentucky improves their record to 3-7 while Austin Peay remains without a victory ay 0-10. Eastern Kentucky recorded 27 first downs and 531 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized five times for 56 yards. Austin Peay recorded 19 first downs and 346 yards of total offense. The Governors were penalized four times for 31 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.
Daryl McCleskey led Eastern Kentucky’s ground game with 109 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries. James Smith carried the ball six times for 89 yards. Ralph Patton carried the ball seven times for 61 yards and a touchdown. Jared Sanders and Henry Enyenihi also scored a touchdown each on the ground. Tyler Swafford completed 15 of 26 passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns. Neiko Creamer caught four passes for 57 yards. Devin Borders added three receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown. Dan Crimmins added three receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. Jared Sanders returned five kickoffs for 209 yards with a touchdown return of 90 yards. Keith Wrzuszczak punted three times for a 47 yard average with a long punt of 60 yards and three punts inside the 20 yard line. Jeffrey Canady led the defense with two solo and seven assisted tackles. Patrick Graffree added three solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 19 yards and recovered a fumble. Taquan Evans recovered a fumble and Sheldon Fleming intercepted a pass.
Kente Williams led Austin Peay’s ground game with 176 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. Javaughn Craig carried the ball 13 times for 55 yards and two touchdowns. Timar Mitchell completed five of 18 passes for 59 yards with one interception. Jared Beard caught three passes for 22 yards. Kente Williams added two receptions for 42 yards. Kente Williams returned five kickoffs for 181 yards with a touchdown return of 97 yards. James Bond led the defense with seven solo and four assisted tackles. Chris Hopkins added four solo and six assisted tackles. Gun Scholato recorded one solo and seven assisted tackles.
