Highlands coach Jaime Richey started the following lineup: 5-6 Sr. Lauren Epperson, 5-6 Sr. Jenna Martin, 5-7 Sr. Emma Little, 5-5 So. Zoie Barth, and 5-5 So. Chloe Jansen.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 Jr. Grace Berger, 5-7 Jr. Kia Sivils, 5-9 Jr. Natalie Fichter, 5-4 So. Ashlee Harris, and 5-5 Jr. Kiki Samsel.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Highlands by a score of 73-54.  Sacred Heart shot 58.8% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Highlands turnovers.  Highlands shot 36.6% from the field including eight of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Bluebirds connected on 16 of 16 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Kiki Samsel led Sacred Heart Academy with 17 points including three three point baskets.  Grace Berger added 15 points, four assists, and three steals.  Natalie Fichter also reached double figures with 10 points and Kia Sivils pulled down eight rebounds.  6-0 Fr. Kristen Clemons added five points, four rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Zoie Barth led Highlands with 18 points including 10 of 10 free throws and six rebounds.  Jenna Martin added 15 points including three three point baskets and three steals.  Lauren Epperson recorded nine points and six rebounds.
