Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Cameron Greenup, 6-0 Sr. Shawn Catlett, 6-2 Fr. Jackson Phillips, 5-10 So. Evan Dreux, and 5-10 Jr. Eric Powell.  Lincoln County coach Jeff Jackson countered with 5-10 Sr. Tanner McAninch, 5-10 Jr. Chase Phillips, 6-2 Jr. Nick Noland, 5-8 Sr. Noah Young, and 5-9 Sr. Devin Alcorn.

 

Lafayette rallied from a 49-32 deficit in the third quarter to earn a 70-69 overtime victory over Lincoln County.  The score was tied three times and there were four lead changes in the game.  Lafayette shot 41.7% from the field including eight of 31 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 15 Lincoln County turnovers.  Lincoln County shot 52.3% from the field including 10 of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Eric Powell led Lafayette with 21 points including four three point baskets.  5-10 Sr. Jajuante Carpenter added 15 points including two three point baskets.  6-1 Jr. Cameron King chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.  Evan Dreux added 11 points and five assists.  Cameron Greenup recorded seven points and 10 rebounds.

 

Noah Young led Lincoln County with 31 points including six three point baskets.  Chase Phillips added 11 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Devin Alcorn chipped in with 10 points.  Nick Noland recorded seven points and seven rebounds.
