Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Zan Payne, 6-3 Jr. TC Price, 6-7 Sr. Peter Whitman, 5-9 So. Javen Hardin, and 6-3 Sr. Luke Johnson.  Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-4 Jr. CJ Fredrick, 6-3 Jr. AJ Mayer, 7-1 Jr. Jake Walter, 5-10 Jr. Aiden Ruthsatz, and 6-2 Sr. Cole Vonhandorf.

Covington Catholic never trailed in a 62-52 victory over Lexington Catholic.  Covington Catholic shot 43.8% from the field including four of eight from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 18 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 46.2% from the field including four of six from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Covington Catholic turnovers.

CJ Fredrick led Covington Catholic with 17 points and four assists.  Cole Vonhandorf added 15 points and six steals.  Jake Walter recorded 13 points and seven rebounds.  Aiden Ruthsatz chipped in with 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Luke Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 16 points, five rebounds, and five assists.  TC Price added 12 points.  6-6 Jr. Max Sparkman chipped in with nine points and Zan Payne pulled down eight rebounds.
