Franklin County coach Rebecca Thacker started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Princess Stewart, 5-6 Sr. Savannah Courtney, 5-10 Sr. Rebecca Cook, 5-4 8th Grade Brooklyn Miles, and 5-5 Jr. Kindall Talley. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-9 So. Lindi DeBilzan, 5-9 Jr. Caroline Bennett, 5-10 Sr. Kiara Pankins, 5-3 Jr. Terry Abram, and 5-10 So. Macey Goff.
Franklin County scored 35 points off 23 Lafayette turnovers in a 70-40 victory on the road tonight. Franklin County shot 43.9% from the field including eight of 18 from the three point line. The Flyers connected on 12 of 12 free throws and pulled down 34 rebounds. Lafayette shot 37% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc. The Generals connected on two of eight free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off five Franklin County turnovers.
Savannah Courtney led Franklin County with 17 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds. Brooklyn Miles added 15 points and five steals. Rebecca Cook recorded 11 points, eight rebounds, and five steals. Kindall Talley chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets. 5-8 Jr. Joey Thacker scored six points on two three point baskets.
Kiara Pankins led Lafayette with 21 points and seven rebounds. Caroline Bennett added 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and four steals.
