Boyle County coach Greg Edwards started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Emmie Harris, 5-10 Jr. Gracie Edmiston, 5-11 Jr. Becca Tarter, 5-6 Jr. Danielle Roney, and 5-8 So. McKayla Baker. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-10 Jr. Peyton Riddle, 5-9 So. Maaliya Owens, 5-10 Sr. Lauren Boehm, 5-5 Fr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-8 Sr. Kadee Hudson.
Scott County defeated Boyle County by a score of 98-65. Scott County shot 54.1% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 29 Boyle County turnovers. Boyle County shot 32.1% from the field including zero of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Rebels connected on 29 of 36 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 29 Scott County turnovers.
Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 30 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds. Morgan DeFoor added 29 points, five rebounds, and three steals. Lauren Boehm recorded 13 points, 13 rebounds, and four steals. Maaliya Owens chipped in with12 points and three steals.
Gracie Edmiston led Boyle County with 16 points. Emmie Harris added 15 points and four steals. Danielle Roney recorded 10 points, five rebounds, and three steals. McKayla Baker also scored 10 points and recorded four steals.
