Lincoln County vs. Lafayette (Girls)

Lincoln County coach Cassandra McWhorter started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Emma King, 5-8 Sr. Jenna King, 5-11 So. Kaitlynn Wilks, 5-4 So. Maddy Boyle, and 5-6 Sr. Logan Godbey.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 So. Macey Goff, 5-9 So. Lindi DeBilzan, 5-10 Sr. Kiara Pankins, 5-8 Fr. Shelbi Wilson, and 5-9 Jr. Caroline Bennett.

 

Lafayette defeated Lincoln County by a score of 57-46.  Lafayette shot 51.3% from the field including four of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 20 Lincoln County turnovers.  Lincoln County shot 32.2% from the field including zero of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Patriots connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 18 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Lindi DeBilzan added 14 points.  Kiara Pankins recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

 

Kaitlynn Wilks led Lincoln County with 15 points and nine rebounds.  Logan Godbey added 10 points, four rebounds, and four steals.  Emma King recorded seven points and seven rebounds.
