Pulaski County coach John Fraley started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Steven Fitzgerald, 6-3 Jr. Danny Butt, 6-5 Sr. Treyvon Sylvester, 5-6 Fr. Colton Fraley, and 5-9 Sr. Landon Powell. Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Jr. Justin Mitchell, 5-10 So. Harris Hawkins, 6-3 Jr. Andreus Green, 5-9 So. Keaston Brown, and 5-10 Sr. Brian Tribble.
Pulaski County defeated Henry Clay by a score of 85-81. Pulaski County led 53-39 in the third quarter but Henry Clay rallied to make it close. There were seven lead changes and two ties in the game. Pulaski County shot a sizzling 60.4% from the field including 10 of 18 from the three point line. The Maroons connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored four points off six Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 40.5% from the field including seven of 23 from beyond the arc. Henry Clay attempted 21 more shots (74-53) from the field than Pulaski County. The Blue Devils connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 17 Pulaski County turnovers.
Steven Fitzgerald led Pulaski County with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Treyvon Sylvester added 18 points and eight rebounds. Landon Powell recorded 14 points including four three point baskets. 6-0 Jr. Hagan Elmore chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds. Danny Butt recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
Keaston Brown led Henry Clay with 18 points. Justin Mitchell added 15 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals. 6-3 So. Quentyn Jackson recorded 14 points including four three point baskets. 5-8 So. Ramond Jackson chipped in with nine points and Harris Hawkins added seven points and seven rebounds.
