Ohio Valley University coach Jazmone Turner started the following lineup: 6-0 So. Ariel Johnson, 5-9 Fr. Imani McDowell, 6-0 So. Rachel Browne, 5-3 So. Cydney Franklin, and 5-6 So. Jalyn Gilbert.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts countered with 6-0 Fr. Tae’Lour Richardson, 5-11 Sr. Shavontae Naylor, 6-1 Sr. Jalen O’Bannon, 5-5 Sr. Mariah Massengill, and 5-8 Sr. Alexus Cooper.

Eastern Kentucky University dominated play today in an 88-30 victory over Ohio Valley University.  Eastern Kentucky shot 53.3% from the field including nine of 16 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 39 points off 30 Ohio Valley turnovers.  Ohio Valley shot 15% from the field including zero of nine from beyond the arc.  The Fighting Scots connected on 18 of 26 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored six points off 18 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

Alexus Cooper led Eastern Kentucky with 22 points including four three point baskets.  6-0 Sr. Amadi Brooks added 11 points.  Jalen O’Bannon recorded 10 points six rebounds, and three steals.  Shavontae Naylor and 5-9 Sr. Katie Pippen also scored 10 points each and 6-3 Jr. Madison Wood pulled down seven rebounds and blocked two shots.

Cydney Franklin led Ohio Valley with eight points.  Rachel Browne and 5-6 So. Yazmin Lopez each scored four points.
