Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Chris Wharton, 5-10 Sr. Jajuante Carpenter, 6-0 Sr. Cameron Greenup, 5-10 So. Evan Dreux, and 5-10 Jr. Eric Powell.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-6 So. Michael Moreno, 6-2 Jr. Cooper Robb, 6-0 So. Lorenzo Williams, 6-1 So. Glenn Covington, and 6-1 So. Bryce Long.

Scott County defeated Lafayette by a score of 94-66.  Scott County shot 52.6% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 29 of 37 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 20 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 42.6% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 15 of 27 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Scott County turnovers.

Michael Moreno led Scott County with 39 points, 13 rebounds, and nine blocked shots.  Moreno was 12 of 16 from the field including zero of one from beyond the arc, and 15 of 18 free throws.  Cooper Robb added 19 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  6-1 Jr. Josh Davis chipped in with 11 points.

Jajuante Carpenter led Lafayette with 19 points including two three point baskets.  Evan Dreux added 10 points.  Eric Powell recorded six points and eight rebounds.
