Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Tae’Lour Richardson, 5-11 So. Abby Wright, 6-0 Sr. Amadi Brooks, 5-3 Jr. Ja’Lyn Brooks, and 5-8 Sr. Alexus Cooper.  Miami (OH) University coach Cleve Wright countered with 6-0 Jr. Molly McDonagh, 6-2 Jr. Kayla Brown, 6-2 Jr. Megan Galloway, 5-3 Fr. Lauren Dickerson, and 5-8 Jr. Jazz Smith.

The third quarter proved to be Eastern Kentucky’s downfall as Miami University outscored the Colonels 22-8 in the quarter on their way to a 65-54 victory.  Miami University shot 35.1% from the field including five of 24 from the three point line.  They connected on 20 of 26 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 29.6% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 19 of 29 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 22 Miami University turnovers.

Lauren Dickerson led Miami University with 19 points including eight of 10 free throws, seven rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Molly McDonagh added 10 points and seven rebounds.  Megan Galloway pulled down eight rebounds.  6-0 So. Kendall McCoy added eight points and six rebounds.

5-11 Sr. Shavontae Naylor led Eastern Kentucky University with 17 points including seven of 10 free throws, eight rebounds, and four steals.  Alexus Cooper added nine points.
