Simon Kenton coach Jeff Stowers started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Shelby Harmeyer, 5-9 Jr. Bailee Harney, 6-2 Sr. Madi Meier, 5-6 Fr. Maggi Jones, and 5-8 Jr. Allyson Niece.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Nick Runyon countered with 5-11 Sr. Autumn Heriford, 5-9 Jr. Peyton Humphreys, 5-9 Jr. Anaiyah Cotton, 5-6 Jr. Mashayla Cecil, and 5-8 So. Cheyenne Fullwood.

Simon Kenton defeated a cold shooting Paul Laurence Dunbar team by a score of 57-34.  Simon Kenton shot 42.3% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Pioneers connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 23.1% from the field including zero of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 16 of 19 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine Simon Kenton turnovers.

Madi Meier led Simon Kenton with 14 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Allyson Niece added 12 points and eight rebounds.  5-4 Sr. Kendyl Gilliam recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and five assists.  Shelby Harmeyer chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.  Bailee Harney also pulled down eight rebounds.

Peyton Humphreys led Paul Laurence Dunbar with 11 points and eight rebounds.  Anaiyah Cotton added 10 points and six rebounds.
