Eastern Kentucky coach Dan McHale countered with 6-6 Fr. Deandre Dishman, 6-7 Jr. Zach Charles, 6-9 So. Nick Mayo, 5-11 Fr. Asante Gist, and 6-2 Sr. Isaac McGlone.
Eastern Kentucky defeated Southern Illinois University Edwardsville by a score of 78-61. EKU shot 50.9% from the field including zero of 15 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on 20 of 24 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 10 SIUE turnovers. EKU held a 54-8 advantage in points in the paint. Zach Charles chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds. Deandre Dishman recorded eight points and six rebounds. Isaac McGlone added eight points and four assists and 6-6 Fr. Marlon Adams recorded seven points and seven rebounds.
