Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Justin Mitchell, 6-1 So. Quentyn Jackson, 6-4 Jr. Andreus Green, 5-9 Sr. Brendon Ford, and 6-0 So. Keaston Brown.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-7 So. Michael Moreno, 6-2 Jr. Cooper Robb, 6-6 Sr. Cooper Watts, 6-1 So. Glenn Covington, and 6-1 So. Bryce Long.

 

Scott County raced out to a 55-31 halftime lead on their way to a 100-72 victory over Henry Clay.  Scott County shot 54.1% from the field including 10 of 20 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 52 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 20 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 42.1% from the field including 10 of 28 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Scott County turnovers.

 

Michael Moreno led Scott County with 17 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.  Cooper Robb added 15 points, six rebounds, and five steals.  Bryce Long recorded 14 points.  5-8 So. Cam Fluker chipped in with 13 points including three three point baskets.  6-1 Jr. Josh Davis also reached double figures with 10 points.  Cooper Watts added seven points, 12 rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

Keaston Brown led Henry Clay with 20 points including three three point baskets and three steals.  Justin Mitchell added 17 points and five rebounds.  Quentyn Jackson chipped in with nine points.
