Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Maaliya Owens, 5-10 Jr. Peyton Riddle, 5-11 Sr. Lauren Boehm, 5-5 Fr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-8 Sr. Kadee Hudson. Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom countered with 5-7 Sr. Emoni Washington, 5-5 Sr. Carah Burdette, 5-10 Jr. Gracie Baczkowski, 5-5 Sr. Jlyn Martin, and 5-4 Jr. Kayrah Hardin.
Scott County dominated play tonight with a 78-28 victory over Bryan Station. Scott County shot 54.8% from the field including five of seven from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on five of 12 free throws, pulled down 56 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 12 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 16.4% from the field including two of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Defenders connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored two points off 13 Scott County turnovers.
Morgan DeFoor led Scott County with 20 points and four rebounds. Kadee Hudson added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Peyton Riddle recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Maaliya Owens chipped in with 12 points, 11 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Lauren Boehm added 10 points and 15 rebounds.
Emoni Washington led Bryan Station with seven points and four rebounds. Carah Burdette added six points and three rebounds.
