Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine started the following lineup: 6-6 Jr. Carter Hendricksen, 6-6 So. Kyle Rode, 6-6 Jr. Austin Hall, 6-0 Jr. Chandler Stewart, and 6-2 Sr. Nathan Harper. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-1 Sr. Kendall Peters, 6-2 Sr. Ty Caudill, 6-3 Sr. Bradley Tullar, 5-10 Sr. Isaiah Okesson, and 5-11 So. Dalton Bruner.
Lexington Christian Academy outscored West Jessamine 24-11 in the third quarter on their way to an 81-63 victory. LCA shot 54.4% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 16 of 19 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, scored 26 points off 16 West Jessamine turnovers and held a 52-28 advantage in points in the paint. West Jessamine shot 41.1% from the field including seven of 19 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 LCA turnovers.
Austin Hall led LCA with 30 points and nine rebounds on 15 of 20 from the field. Kyle Rode added 17 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists, and two steals. Carter Hendricksen recorded 15 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Nathan Harper chipped in with nine points, six assists, and three steals. Chandler Stewart recorded seven points and six rebounds.
Dalton Bruner led West Jessamine with 22 points including three three point baskets and four steals. Isaiah Okesson added 18 points including three three point baskets.
