Clay County defeated Jackson County by a score of 77-44. Clay County shot 60% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Tigers connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and committed 14 turnovers. Jackson County shot 35.4% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc. They connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and committed 15 turnovers.
5-9 Fr. Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 22 points and five assists. 5-4 8th Grade Taylor Asher added 16 points and four rebounds. 5-9 So. Summer Parker recorded 12 points and 5-6 So. Shelby Phillips chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.
5-6 Fr. Taya Davis led Jackson County with 17 points. 5-10 So. Alexis Creech, 5-6 So. Raelon Creech, and 5-8 Jr. Morgan Vickers each scored five points.
