Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom started the following lineup: 5-7 So. KeyLynn Clay, 5-7 Sr. Emoni Washington, 5-8 Sr. Jazmyn Burtes, 5-5 Jr. Kyrah Hardin, and 5-5 Sr. Jlyn Martin. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 So. Macey Goff, 5-10 So. Lindi DeBilzan, 5-10 Sr. Kiara Pankins, 5-4 Jr. Terri Abram, and 5-9 Jr. Caroline Bennett.
Lafayette defeated Bryan Station by a score of 68-43. Lafayette shot 48.2% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on 11 of 19 from the free throw line, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored nine points of 13 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 28.1% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc. The Lady Defenders connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.
Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Kiara Pankins added 13 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocked shots. 5-8 Fr. Shelbi Wilson chipped in with nine points. Lindi DeBilzan recorded seven points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.
Jlyn Martin led Bryan station with 14 points including four three point baskets. 5-6 Sr. Carah Burdette added 12 points and five assists. Emoni Washington chipped in with 11 points and four rebounds.
