Sayre coach Rob Goodman started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Jake Duby, 5-11 Sr. Kaden Silverburg, 6-2 Jr. RJ Smith, 5-9 Jr. Jayden Blanton, and 5-11 Sr. Robbie Goodman.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-7 So. Michael Moreno, 6-2 Jr. Cooper Robb, 6-5 Sr. Cooper Watts, 6-1 So. Glenn Covington, and 6-1 So. Bryce Long. 

 

Scott County recorded 18 steals, six blocked shots, and scored 29 points off 23 Sayre turnovers in an 89-58 victory.  Scott County shot 51.45 from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and attempted 27 more shots (74-47) from the field than Sayre.  Sayre shot 38.3% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on 15 of 27 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Scott County turnovers.

 

Michael Moreno led Scott County with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Cooper Robb added 16 points, seven rebounds, and five steals.  Bryce Long recorded nine points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and five steals.  6-0 So. Lorenzo Williams also scored nine points.

 

Jake Duby led Sayre with 32 points including five three point baskets.  6-1 Sr. Will Newton added 10 points and eight rebounds.
