Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Josie Woods, 5-9 So. Raquael Reese, 6-2 Jr. Danielle Feldkamp, 5-5 Fr. Hope Sivori, and 5-8 So. Regan Berger. Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings countered with 5-10 Sr. Lindsey Duvall, 5-7 Jr. Kathleen Scott, 5-9 Sr. Kirstie Henn, 5-5 Sr. Lauren Masden, and 5-6 Sr. Alyssa Peak.
Bullitt East trailed 34-29 at halftime but rallied to defeat Mercy Academy by a score of 70-66. Bullitt East shot 44.4% from the field including 10 of 26 from the three point line. The Lady Chargers connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 14 Mercy Academy turnovers. Mercy Academy shot 49% from the field including nine of 25 from beyond the arc. The Jaguars connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Bullitt East turnovers.
Lindsey Duvall led Bullitt East with 26 points including three three point baskets, seven of eight free throws, and six rebounds. Kirstie Henn added 16 points and six rebounds. Kathleen Scott recorded 11 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
Danielle Feldkamp led Mercy Academy with 17 points and nine rebounds. Hope Sivori added 15 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists. 5-9 Sr. Sadie Zeisloft recorded 14 points including three three point baskets. Regan Berger chipped in with 10 points.
