Taylor County coach Maze Stallworth started the following lineup: 6-3 So. TreVon Smith, 6-3 Jr. Austin Ellis, 6-5 Sr. Dylan Gaines, 5-10 So. DeJhon Irvin, and 6-1 Sr. Ezra Oliver.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Jr. Zan Payne, 6-3 Sr. Blake Scott, 6-3 Jr. TC Price, 5-9 So. Javen Hardin, and 6-3 Sr. Luke Johnson.

Lexington Catholic defeated Taylor County by a score of 79-65.  Lexington Catholic shot 49.1% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 21 of 31 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 19 Taylor County turnovers.  Taylor County shot 50% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on 11 of 12 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Luke Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 29 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and five steals.  Zan Payne added 27 points including 15 of 21 free throws and five rebounds.  Javen Hardin chipped in with 12 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

TreVon Smith led Taylor County with 25 points including eight of nine free throws, four rebounds, and five assists.  Ezra Oliver added 18 points including four three point baskets.  Austin Ellis chipped in with 12 points.  Dylan Gaines recorded 10 points and five rebounds.
