Eastern Kentucky coach Dan McHale started the following lineup: 6-7 Jr. Zach Charles, 6-6 Fr. DeAndre Dishman, 6-9 So. Nick Mayo; 5-11 Fr. Asante Gist, and 6-2 Sr. Isaac McGlone.  Morehead State coach Preston Spradlin countered with 6-5 Sr. Treshaad Williams, 6-5 Sr. Ronnye Beamon, 6-6 Sr. DeJuan Marrero, 6-2 Sr. Xavier Moon, and 6-3 Jr. Miguel Dicent.

Morehead State defeated Eastern Kentucky by a score of 80-54.  Morehead State shot 51.6% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line.  They connected on 12 o 13 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 15 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 35.7% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off 11 Morehead State turnovers.

Treshaad Williams led Morehead State with 22 points and seven rebounds.  Miguel Dicent added 13 points and seven assists.  6-1 Fr. Jordan Walker recorded 12 points and five rebounds.  Xavier Moon chipped in with 11 points, four rebounds, six assists, and three steals.  6-9 Sr. Ty’Quan Bitting added 10 points and four rebounds.  6-7 So. Lamontray Harris pulled down eight rebounds.

Asante Gist led Eastern Kentucky with 16 points including three three point baskets and three assists.  Nick Mayo added 14 points and five rebounds.  Zach Charles recorded six points and seven rebounds.
