Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Tekiya Garr-Carter, 5-9 So. Lindi DeBilzan, 6-0 Sr. Kiara Pankins, 5-6 Jr. Terri Abram, and 5-9 Jr. Caroline Bennett. Woodford County coach Jay Lucas countered with 5-7 Fr. Abby Moffett, 5-6 Fr. Kasey Abel, 5-11 Fr. Delaney Enlow, 5-4 Jr. Peyton Rose, and 5-6 Fr. Abbie Hudson.
Lafayette outscored Woodford County 19-7 in the final quarter to pull away for a 50-33 victory. Lafayette shot 34.5% from the field including one of 15 from the three point line. Lafayette attempted 23 more shots (58-35) from the field than Woodford County. The Generals connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 24 Woodford County turnovers. Woodford County shot 25.7% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Yellow Jackets connected on 13 of 25 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored eight points off 17 Lafayette turnovers.
Lindi DeBilzan led Lafayette with 15 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Caroline Bennett added 12 points, nine rebounds, and seven steals. Tekiya Garr-Carter recorded nine points, seven rebounds, and two steals.
Delaney Enlow led Woodford County with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Abby Moffett added nine points.
