Lexington Christian Academy coach Kent Miller countered with the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Charis Hill, 5-8 Jr. Payton Rogers, 5-11 8th Grade Emilie Teall, 5-5 So. Bethany Selby, and 5-8 So. Grace Combs.  Madison Southern coach Summer Simmons countered with 6-1 Sr. Savannah Fallis, 5-10 Sr. Conner Coyle, 5-11 Sr. Marley Lawson, 5-3 8th Grade Samantha Cornelison, and 5-6 Sr. Desirae Linville.

 

Madison Southern defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 59-49.  Madison Southern shot 42.3% from the field including 12 of 25 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on three of five free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 34% from the field including eight of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Madison Southern turnovers.

 

Samantha Cornelison led Madison Southern with 17 points including five three point baskets and three assists.  Savannah Fallis added 15 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Desirae Linville recorded 13 points including three three point baskets.  Marley Lawson chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and eight assists.  Conner Coyle added four points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

Bethany Selby led LCA with 24 points including four three point baskets and six of six free throws.  Grace Combs added 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and six assists.  Charis Hill recorded 10 points and seven rebounds.
