Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Maaliya Owens, 5-8 Sr. Kadee Hudson, 5-11 Sr. Lauren Boehm, 5-5 Fr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-10 Jr. Peyton Riddle. Alexander (OH) coach Guthrie Denton countered with 5-10 Sr. Jala Mace, So. McKena Rice, Sr. Alexis Mohler, 5-7 So. Rachel Richardson, and 5-9 Sr. Leah Richardson.
Alexander (OH) defeated Scott County by a score of 81-70. The score was tied once and there were eight lead changes in this game. Alexander shot 56% from the field including 10 of 26 from the three point line. The Lady Spartans connected on 15 of 19 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 10 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 40% from the field including eight of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 Alexander (OH) turnovers.
Leah Richardson led Alexander (OH) with 27 points including two three point baskets, nine of 11 free throws, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Alexis Mohler added 18 points including four three point baskets. Rachel Richardson recorded 17 points including four three point baskets. Jala Mace added 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Maaliya Owens led Scott County with 30 points including two three point baskets, four assists, and six steals. Peyton Riddle added 21 points including five three point baskets. Lauren Boehm recorded nine points and nine rebounds.
