Franklin County raced out to a 16-7 first quarter lead on their way to a 59-42 victory over Cooper. Franklin County shot 42.6% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Flyers connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and committed 15 turnovers. Cooper shot 35% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jaguars connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed 18 turnovers.
5-10 Sr. Rebecca Cook led Franklin County with 15 points, six rebounds, four steals, and seven deflections. 5-8 Sr. Princess Stewart added 13 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. 5-6 Jr. Kindall Talley recorded 10 points and five rebounds. 5-8 Jr. Josie Thacker added nine points on three point baskets.
5-9 Sr. Hailey Anderson led Cooper with 14 points and six rebounds. 5-9 Jr. Lexi Held added 10 points and six rebounds. 5-8 Jr. Asyah Mitchell recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and four steals. Kendra Smith pulled down nine rebounds.
