Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Javea Richardson, 6-4 So. Star Ifeacho, 6-4 Sr. Isaiah Yeast, 6-2 So. Jared Gadd, and 6-3 Sr. Taveion Hollingsworth.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-4 Jr. Justin Mitchell, 6-2 So. Quentyn Jackson, 6-4 Jr. Andreus Green, 5-8 Sr. Brian Tribble, and 6-1 Jr. Jalen Williams.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar shot a sizzling 63.9% from the field in a 97-74 victory over Henry Clay tonight.  Dunbar was five of 10 from the three point line, connected on 14 of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 18 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 45.6% from the field including nine of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Blue devils connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Dunbar turnovers.

 

Taveion Hollingsworth led Dunbar with 31 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.  Javea Richardson added 20 points including three three point baskets.  5-8 Jr. JaQuice Gray recorded 17 points and three assists.  Jared Gadd chipped in with 11 points, four rebounds, four assists, and five steals.

 

Justin Mitchell led Henry Clay with 19 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Jalen Williams added 17 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Andreus Green recorded 14 points and eight rebounds.  Quentyn Jackson chipped in with 12 points on four three point baskets.
