Bryan Station vs. Tates Creek (Boys)

Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. David Demarcus, 6-0 Sr. Stephen Groves, 6-7 Sr. Braeden Warren, 5-10 Jr. Eric “Boss” Boone, and 6-1 Jr. Terrance Clayton-Murphy.  Tates Creek coach Michael Allen countered with 6-1 Sr. Anthony Hardin, 5-10 Fr. Amari Taylor, 6-5 Sr. Isaiah Patterson, 5-10 Jr. Darryl Bell, and 6-0 So. Isaiah Allen.

 

Bryan Station defeated Tates Creek 65-60 in overtime.  Bryan Station led 35-23 at halftime but Tates Creek rallied to get back in the game.  There were five ties and two lead changes in the game.  Bryan Station shot 47.1% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 12 points off nine Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 47.1% from the field including seven of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on five of 12 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 11 points off nine Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Terrance Clayton-Murphy led Bryan Station with 22 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Eric “Boss” Boone added 16 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.  6-4 Fr. Nathan Mack chipped in with nine points.

 

Anthony Hardin led Tates Creek with 15 points including four three point baskets and 10 rebounds.  Isaiah Allen added 14 points including two three point baskets.  Isaiah Patterson recorded 11 points and four rebounds.  Amari Taylor also reached double figures with 10 points.
