Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Maaliya Owens, 5-8 Sr. Kadee Hudson, 5-11 Sr. Lauren Boehm, 5-5 Fr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-10 Jr. Peyton Riddle.  Mason County coach Brad Cox countered with 5-9 Sr. Brianna McNutt, 5-9 Sr. Whitney O’Mara, 5-10 Sr. Maddie Boone, 5-7 Sr. Brianna Littleton, and 5-9 Sr. Jordan Frodge.

Scott County defeated Mason County by a score of 78-70.  Scott County shot 46.4% from the field including nine of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 Mason County turnovers.  Mason County shot 38.1% from the field including eight of 27 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Royals connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 18 Scott County turnovers.

Maaliya Owens led Scott County with 23 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds.  Peyton Riddle added 17 points including six of six free throws, six rebounds, and five assists.  Morgan DeFoor recorded 14 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Lauren Boehm added 12 points and 15 rebounds.  Kadee Hudson chipped in with six points and eight rebounds.

Whitney O’Mara led Mason County with 24 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, and three steals.  Brianna McNutt added 12 points.  Jordan Frodge and 5-5 Jr. AJ Reed chipped in with 11 and 10 points respectively.  Maddie Boone recorded nine points, 10 rebounds, and three assists.
