Lafayette coach Allion Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Macey Goff, 5-9 So. Lindi DeBilzan, 5-9 Jr. Tekiya Garr-Carter, 5-6 Jr. Terri Abram, and 5-9 Jr. Caroline Bennett. George Rogers Clark coach Robbie Graham countered with 5-10 So. Maleaha Bell, 5-10 So. Hayley Harrison, 6-3 Sr. Elizabeth Hardiman, 5-7 Fr. Kennedy Igo, and 5-9 Jr. Shemaya Behanan.
Lafayette led 35-11 in the first half but George Rogers Clark rallies and won the game 64-62 on a basket by Shemaya Behanan in the closing seconds. GRC shot 43.3% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 22 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 50% from the field including six of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 GRC turnovers.
Maleaha Bell led GRC with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists. Shemaya Behanan added 18 points and 10 rebounds. Hayley Harrison recorded 11 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, five assists, and four steals.
Lindi DeBilzan led Lafayette with 16 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds. Macey Goff added 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Terri Abram chipped in with 11 points. Tekiya Garr-Carter added 10 points and Caroline Bennett recorded nine points, six rebounds, and three assists.
