Franklin County defeated Nelson County by a score of 82-63. Franklin County shot 56.4% from the field including 10 of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Flyers connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and committed 13 turnovers. Nelson County shot 39.3% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and committed 13 turnovers.
5-8 Sr. Princess Stewart led Franklin County with 18 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. 5-10 Sr. Rebecca Cook added 18 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists. 5-6 Sr. Savannah Courtney recorded 13 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds. Kindall Talley chipped in with 12 points and five rebounds. 5-4 8th Grade Brooklynn Miles added eight points and seven assists.
5-4 Jr. Marly Walls led Nelson County with 21 points, four rebounds, and four steals. 5-4 Sr. Shyla Calbert added 13 points and four assists. 5-6 Sr. LeLe Linton recorded 12 points. 5-9 Sr. Kira Harman chipped in with nine points and nine rebounds. 5-9 So. Kyona Hamilton added eight points and five rebounds.
