Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Grace Berger, 5-7 Jr. Kia Sivils, 5-9 Jr. Natalie Fichter, 5-6 So. Ashlee Harris, and 5-7 Jr. Kiki Samsel.  Campbell County coach Beau Menefee countered with 5-6 Fr. Mallory Holbrook, 5-4 Jr. Chloe Seckman, 5-9 Jr. Mackenzie Schwarber, 5-3 Fr. Jalyn Jackson, and 5-5 Jr. Taylor Clos.

 

Sacred Heart Academy captured a hard fought 66-60 victory over Campbell County tonight.  There were seven lead changes and three ties in this game.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 44.8% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Campbell County turnovers.  Campbell County shot 38.3% from the field including seven of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Camels connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 10 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.

 

Kiki Samsel led Sacred Heart with 19 points including three three point baskets and three assists.  Grace Berger added 17 points, nine rebounds, and three steals.  Kia Sivils recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and four steals. 

 

Taylor Clos led Campbell County with 20 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and three assists.  Mackenzie Schwarber added 15 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Mallory Holbrook chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets.  5-6 Jr. Alexis Keeton recorded 10 points and four rebounds.
