East Carter coach Hager Easterling started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Haley Hall, 5-6 So. Taylor Hall, 6-0 Sr. Bailee Brainard, 5-6 Sr. Kristen Mayo, and 5-7 8th Grade Harley Paynter. Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-8 Jr. Cheyenne Jones, 5-8 So. Destyne Jackson, 5-11 Jr. Tyronica Carpenter, 5-4 Jr. Alexis Lutz, and 5-7 So. Kiya Thompson.
East Carter defeated Henry Clay by a score of 55-43. East Carter shot 44.7% from the field including one of six from the three point line. The Lady Raiders connected on 20 of 24 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 30.2% from the field including four of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Blue Devils connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 East Carter turnovers.
Kristen Mayo led East Carter with 16 points including six of seven free throws and four assists. Haley Hall added 15 points including nine of 10 free throws and seven rebounds. Bailee Brainard recorded 13 points, 14 rebounds, and two blocked shots.
Destyne Jackson led Henry Clay with 15 points, two assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Kiya Thompson added 13 points including three three point baskets. Cheyenne Jones pulled down nine rebounds.
