Boyle County coach Steve Adams started the following lineup: 5-11 Fr. Reese Smith, 5-11 Fr. Grant Hotchkiss, 6-5 Jr. Will Bramel, 6-0 Jr. Jason Alexander, and 5-10 Jr. Bryce Slone.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-1 Sr. Cameron Greenup, 5-10 Sr. Jajuante Carpenter, 6-5 Sr. Patrick Carey, 5-8 Sr. Myles Stone, and 5-9 Sr. Chris Wharton.

 

Boyle County outscored Lafayette 23-13 in the third quarter on their way to a 71-64 victory.  Boyle County shot 63.4% from the field including eight of 11 from the three point line.  The Rebels connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 42.1% from the field including 11 of 32 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 22 Boyle County turnovers.

 

Bryce Slone led Boyle County with 27 points including seven three point baskets and six rebounds.  Will Bramel added 13 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Jason Alexander recorded 12 points and seven assists.  Reese Smith added eight points, four rebounds, and six assists.

 

Cameron Greenup led Lafayette with 14 points including two three point baskets and three steals.  5-10 Jr. Eric Powell added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Jajuante Carpenter recorded 12 points on four three point baskets, three rebounds, five assists, and four steals.  6-1 Jr. Cameron King chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.
