Madison Southern coach Summer Simmons started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Savannah Fallis, 5-10 Sr. Conner Coyle, 5-11 Sr. Marley Lawson, 5- 3 8rh Grade Samantha Cornelison, and 5-6 Jr. Ashlyn Clark. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-9 So. Maaliya Owens, 5-8 Sr. Kadee Hudson, 5-11 Sr. Lauren Boehm, 5-5 Fr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-11 Jr. Peyton Riddle.
Scott County defeated Madison Southern by a score of 79-50. Scott County shot 45.7% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 41 points off 33 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 28.6% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 23 of 30 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored four points off 14 Scott County turnovers.
Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 28 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds. Maaliya Owens added 17 points, five assists, and six steals. Morgan DeFoor recorded 10 points, 10 assists, and five steals. Lauren Boehm recorded six points and eight rebounds.
Ashlyn Clark led Madison Southern with 11 points and four rebounds. Marley Lawson added 10 points and six rebounds. Samantha Cornelison chipped in with nine points and Conner Coyle recorded eight points and eight rebounds.
