Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Dustin Gerald, 6-1 Sr. Michael Roberts, 6-7 So. Isaiah Cozart, 5-10 Jr. Isaiah Minter, and 5-10 Jr. Jacori Miller.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-6 Jr. Carter Hendrickson, 6-6 So. Kyle Rode, 6-6 Jr. Austin Hall, 6-0 Jr. Chandler Stewart, and 6-2 Sr. Nathan Harper.

Michael Roberts stole the ball near mid court, drew a foul, and hit one of two free throws (the last one) with nine seconds remaining on the clock to give Madison Central a 45-44 upset victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  LCA had a last chance but Kyle Rode missed a jump shot for the win.  LCA led 41-32 early in the final quarter but Madison Central went to a pressing defense which turned the tide in their favor.  The score was tied four times and there were eight lead changes in the game.

Madison Central shot 37% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off six LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 31.4% from the field including 10 of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on two of four free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored three points off five Madison Central turnovers.

Isaiah Minter led Madison Central with 16 points including three three point baskets.  Isaiah Cozart added 12 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Dustin Gerald recorded six points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Michael Roberts chipped in with six points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Carter Hendrickson led LCA with 13 points including three three point baskets and 10 rebounds.  Nathan Harper added 12 points on four three point baskets.  Chandler Stewart recorded seven points, four rebounds, and three assists.
