Rick Bolus’ 38^th Annual High Potential Blue Chip Basketball Camp July 10-11, 2017

This was the first day of the two day session and as usual everything is hectic on the first day.  I did not get to see all the teams today in High School Division or any of the Junior High Division.  I will list some of the players I observed or who were mentioned to me and will add more tomorrow as well as adding all camp teams and awards when made available.

Kyelor Gipson – 5-9 Sr. MASE Memphis TN shoots the ball and is an excellent defender.

David Hunter – 6-1 Jr. Scott Taylor Mill KY impressed with his tenacious defense.

Jaycob Pouncy – 6-1 Sr. Scott Taylor Mill KY is a versatile scorer.

Marcus Ashford – 5-10 Sr. Paris Paris KY is extremely quick with a nice shot.

Eric Johnson – 5-11 Sr. Paris Paris KY is an athletic slasher who gets to the rim.

Elisha Moore – 5-10 Fr Home School Lawrenceburg IN is a lock-down defender.

Zachary Patterson – 6-1 So. Knox Central Barbourville KY is a young up-and-comer point guard with a big upside.

Markelle Turner – 6-1 Sr. Knox Central Barbourville KY can get to the rim or hit the jump shot.

Vann Bryant – 6-7 Sr. Trinity Christian Jackson TN defends and has a soft touch on his shot.

Mark Janowski – 6-8 Sr. Central Catholic Lima OH is a presence in the paint.

Justin Kellogg – 6-3 Sr. Trenton Wesclin Trenton IL bangs in the paint but has three point range, hard worker.

Scotty Draud – 6-3 Fr. Beechwood Ft. Mitchell KY young with skills-big upside.

Allen Plunkett – 6-5 Jr. South Putnam Greencastle IN is a shooter with range and good rebounder.

Bennie Patterson – 5-10 Sr. Tri-County Wolcott IN gets to the rim and is very athletic.

Cedric Cosby – 6-4 Sr. Kentucky Country Day Louisville KY is a scorer who also hits the boards.

Jacob Taylor – 6-6 Sr. Bethlehem Bardstown KY is a hard working banger who gets impressive results.

Fred Overton – 5-10 So. Central Catholic Toledo OH penetrates and gets to the rim.

Matthew Spotleson and Michael Spotleson – 6-5 Sr. Uniontown Lake Uniontown OH are talented bookends fundamentally sound and solid in all aspects of the game.

Juwan Steele – 6-4 Sr. Knoxville Christian Knoxville TN is a solid versatile performer.
