Madison Southern defeated Bourbon County tonight by a score of 37-7.  Madison Southern recorded 15 first downs and 368 yards of total offense.  They were penalized eight times for 76 yards and had two passes intercepted.  Bourbon County recorded 10 first downs and 167 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 60 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Carter Smith led Madison Southern’s ground game with 128 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries.  Landen Stacy carried the ball six times for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Landen Stacy completed eight of 15 passes for 125 yards with two interceptions.  Hunter Richardson caught three passes for 21 yards.  Seth Shepherd added two receptions for 40 yards.  Alex Knuckles caught one pass for 31 yards.  Tobias Storm returned two kickoffs for 63 yards with a long return of 32 yards.  Nathaniel Eads led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Carter Smith and Alex Knuckles each recorded three solo and four assisted tackles.  Jeremy Thompson recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 19 yard loss.  Jordan Casteel intercepted a pass.

CaMarr Myers led Bourbon County’s ground game with 97 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Dalen Landrum completed seven of 20 passes for 83 yards with one interception.  Titus Ransom caught three passes for 30 yards.  CaMarr Myers added two receptions for 34 yards.  Dalton Williams led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Justin Blankenship added three solo and two assisted tackles.  CaMarr Myers recorded four solo tackles.  Titus Ransom intercepted a pass he returned 22 yards.  Zach Hawkins also intercepted a pass.
