Thursday August 31st

 

Ballard 34  Collins 28Terrance May completed 21 of 38 passes for 370 yards and four touchdowns to lead Ballard.  JR Lucas completed 12 of 26 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns and carried the ball 28 times for 81 yards and a touchdown to lead Collins.

 

Bell County 47  Pike County Central 26Colby Frazier carried the ball 24 times for 231 yards and six touchdowns.

 

Butler 43  Western 6Chaz Burks completed nine of 17 passes for 149 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Danville 10  Boyle County 7Nathan Hazlett came to the football stadium late from his soccer game and kicked the game winning field goal with 40 seconds left on the clock.

 

DeSales 47  Louisville Holy Cross 0 – Tyrell Watkins carried the pall 107 yards for four touchdowns.

 

Franklin County 33  Woodford County 20Tre Simmons caught four passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns and scored on a 97 yard interception return.

Johnson Central 40  Henry Clay 28Blake Gamble led Johnson Central with 147 yards on 27 carries.

 

Male 47  Doss 7Garrett Dennis completed 11 of 13 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns and carried the ball 12 times for 89 yards and two touchdowns.

 

Moore 42  Seneca 8RaeVon Vaden ran for three touchdowns to lead Moore.

 

Rockcastle County 43  Whitley County 35Jaden Payne carried the ball 18 times for 139 yards and three touchdowns and Brent Lovell added 114 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries to lead Rockcastle County.

 

Scott County 71  Highlands 20Brice Fryman carried the ball eight times for 177 yards and two touchdowns to lead Scott County.

 

Waggener 65  North Oldham 13Jarius Brents scored on runs of 6 and 15 yards, caught a 41 yard touchdown pass, threw a 21 yard touchdown pass, and scored on a 65 yard punt return to lead Waggener.

Scott 62  Covington Holy Cross 13 – Quincy Perrin carried the ball six times for 135 yards and two touchdowns and Nelson Perrin added 134 yards and one touchdown on four carries.

 

South Warren 36  Franklin-Simpson 7 – Gavin Spurrier completed 11 of 18 passes for 260 yards and two touchdowns.

 

Southwestern 24  Madison Central 15 – Patric Edwards carried the ball 24 times for 119 yards and a touchdown to lead Southwestern.

 

St. Xavier 30  Bowling Green 19 – Brett Metzmeier led St. Xavier’s ground game with 141 yards.

 

Trinity 38  Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati) OH 30 – Trinity rallied from a 24-7 deficit to earn the victory.  Rondale Moore caught 22 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns to lead the victors.
