Covington Catholic dominated play tonight in a 41-0 victory over Cooper. Covington Catholic recorded 358 yards of total offense while Cooper was held to 140 yards. Casey McGinness led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 98 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. AJ Mayer completed six of eight passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns. Malachi Pike caught three passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns. Jack Coldiron caught a 61 yard touchdown pass. Casey McGinness returned two punts for 41 yards with a long return of 30 yards.
Anthony Witschey led Cooper’s ground attack with 92 yards on 15 carries. Jacob Linder completed one of three passes for seven yards. Jayden Maynard caught one pass for seven yards.
