Lafayette defeated George Rogers Clark by a score of 38-14.  Lafayette recorded 15 first downs and 461 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 13 times for 128 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  George Rogers Clark recorded eight first downs and 105 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized nine times for 67 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Cameron Morgan led Lafayette’s ground game with 261 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.  Deshawn Taylor carried the ball eight times for 39 yards.  Dekwan Edwards completed six of 13 passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Matthew Guilfoil caught three passes for 25 yards.  Caylon Williams added two receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown.  John Combs caught an eight yard touchdown reception.  Jaylen Lawson led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Ean Shaw added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Kyle Browning recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.  Devontae Hayes intercepted a pass he returned 19 yards.

Azariah Israel led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 53 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Pierce Nesbitt completed two of 17 passes for 47 yards.  Jaden Farris caught two passes for 47 yards.  Jehdon Jenkins led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 10 yard loss.  Aquavion Lewis added six solo and one assisted tackles.  Keaton Aldridge recorded four solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Trevon Jones intercepted a pass he returned 81 yards.
