DeSales improves to 12-0 and continues their string of impressive performances with a 54-0 victory over Washington County tonight. The Colts settled the issue early with a 34 point scoring outburst in the second quarter. DeSales recorded 21 first downs and 369 yards of total offense. The Colts were penalized three times for 48 yards. Washington County recorded four first downs and 105 yards of total offense. The Commanders were penalized twice for 23 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.
Jordan Watkins led DeSales ground game with 90 yards on 11 carries. Carlos Ordway carried the ball six times for 51 yards and a touchdown. Chase Pfaadt added 46 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Antion Johnson and Derrick Hollenkamp also rushed for a touchdown each. Antion Johnson completed six of eight passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns. Saivon Stivers caught two passes for 32 yards. Jared Coffman and Ronni Standard caught touchdown passes for 29 and 26 yards respectively. Jordan Watkins returned a punt 44 yards for a touchdown. Alex Schneider led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. DeJuan Watkins added one solo and four assisted tackles. Shawn Kaufman intercepted a pass he returned 60 yards.
John Floyd led Washington County’s ground game with 28 yards on five carries. Jbias Dawson carried the ball 10 times for 27 yards. John Floyd completed three of 15 passes for 51 yards with one interception. Daniel DeWitt caught three passes for 51 yards. Jbias Dawson returned five kickoffs for 69 yards with a long return of 18 yards. Jack Wheatley led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles. Dillian Spaw added seven solo and one assisted tackles. Jbias Dawson recorded six solo and one assisted tackles.
