Ole Miss pushed the lead to 19 points with b4:46 left in the game but Eastern Kentucky University fought back to close within 10; 85-75 which was the final margin. Devontae Shuler recorded 12 points and Markel Crawford also reached double figures with 10 points. Marcanvis Hymon added eight points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots.
Nick Mayo led Eastern Kentucky with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Dedric Boyd also scored 19 points including two three point baskets. 6-8 Jr. Jackson Davis also reached double figures with 11 points. Zach Charles recorded eight points and seven rebounds. JacQuess Hobbs added seven points, four rebounds, six assists, and two steals.
