UNCG coach Trina Patterson started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Nadine Soliman, 5-10 So. Tre’Ja Twitty, 6-3 Sr. Ije Ajemba, 5-6 Jr. Brandi Fier, and 5-6 So. Alexis Pritchford.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts countered with 5-11 Jr. Abby Wright, 5-11 Fr. Bria Bass, 6-2 Jr. Madison Pierce, 5-8 Jr. A’Queen Hayes, and 5-8 So. Shay Solomon.

Eastern Kentucky University scored 23 points off 15 UNCG turnovers in a 70-59 victory.  Eastern Kentucky shot 48.3% from the field including two of seven from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 15 UNCG turnovers.  UNCG shot 39.6% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

A’Queen Hayes led Eastern Kentucky with 23 points, six rebounds, and six assists.  Abby Wright added 19 points, three rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Shay Solomon recorded eight points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  6-0 Jr. Joya Smith added eight points and two assists.  Bria Bass recorded seven points and seven rebounds.  Madison Pierce chipped in with five points and seven rebounds.

Nadine Soliman led UNCG with 25 points including two three point baskets, 11 of 12 free throws, five rebounds, and two steals.  Brandi Fier added 13 points and five assists.  6-0 Fr. Amesha Miller recorded eight points, five rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Ije Ajemba pulled down 11 rebounds.
